I'm not sure sidepath is the right tag. Is there a physical path that bikes can use, if so, I'd add the path and show bicycle=yes. Can bicycles and pedestrians use the gate? If so you can access for them. See bicycle=use_sidepath and access=*

We don't use descriptive names, like closed landfill. Instead tag it as landuse=landfill + disued=yes. See landuse=landfill
