I’m a mapper from Scotts Valley, California, USA.
Since 2016 I’ve been maintaining the timezone-boundary-builder project. This project extracts data from OpenStreetMap about timezone boundaries and then compiles that data into a neat downloadable format. You may see me randomly armchair-mapping timzone boundaries around the world as best I can.
Aside from that, my mapping interests are in pedestrian infrastructure, business POIs and forest cover near ski areas since I love to ski.
For my day job I work on stuff related to public transit data. One day, I look forward to the adoption of shared identifiers to once and for all conclusively link GTFS data to the OpenStreetMap network.
