I’m a mapper from Folsom, California, USA.

Since 2016 I’ve been maintaining the timezone-boundary-builder project. This project extracts data from OpenStreetMap about timezone boundaries and then compiles that data into a neat downloadable format. You may see me randomly armchair-mapping timzone boundaries around the world as best I can.

Aside from that, my mapping interests are in bike & pedestrian infrastructure, forest cover near ski areas and lately #waterwaymap.

For my day job I work on stuff related to public transit data. One day, I look forward to the adoption of some kind of ID system to once and for all conclusively link GTFS data to the OpenStreetMap network.
