Dora Sauceda taught at Gladys Porter Early College High School after she graduated from college. This is where she learned that she loved teaching. She then decided to go to UT Austin to get a master’s degree in education administration and a Ph.D. in supervision. Dora Sauceda was the principal at Cummings Middle School. She helped the struggling school get out of a long academic and professional slump by training and teaching the teachers and students.
