Digitaleo is a SaaS platform that enables businesses to manage their online presence across multiple directories.

When a business owner updates their point-of-sale information on Digitaleo, the changes are automatically published to OpenStreetMap via the API. Each edit corresponds to a single user action — this is not an autonomous bot.

Scope

• Countries: France and Europe generally
• Element types: Nodes, Ways, Relations (existing POIs only for update; new nodes for creation)
• Data published: name, address, phone, email, website, opening hours, payment methods, social media links, SIRET number

Edit behaviour

• One changeset per business update
• Tags are merged with existing element data — Digitaleo does not remove tags it does not manage

• Changeset tag created_by: Digitaleo-OSM-API/1.0
• Changeset tag source: digitaleo
• Changeset comment: Update business information/Add new business location

Revert procedure

• In case of issues, contact us via the OSM user page or email (serviceclient@digitaleo.com). We can identify and revert affected changesets.
