This block of flats is called Brummell Place

"Marigolds Recreation Ground" is a charity set up about 100 years ago to hold land for local use. It aquired this parcel of land in the '90s. This field is locally knonw as the Forebury, not Marigolds. The latter name simply seems to refer to the how owns it.

This stile and the two small stubs of footpath was added to Openstreet map in 2014. It was on the definitive mapping correctly and was part of Footpath 183 registered with ECC at that time. On 30th March 2015 Essex County Council issued an order under the Highways Act 1980 Section 119 diverting the footpath to a new route as shown on the ECC definitive map and also on openstreet mapping. This diversion went through unopposed by locals and the consulted bodies. This stile and the stub routes no longer therefore exist and the stile was removed after the diversion was granted.
