I’m mostly interested in San Francisco and the Anderson Valley in Mendocino County, California. My articles on SF geography are on https://sfgazetteer.com/. Substantial things I’ve done in OSM:

• Late 2025 & early 2026: Corrected many names and extents of streets in SF, following a citywide survey and a review of DPW data. Added alt_names for all current commemorative street names (data, on Overpass).

• April 2026: Audited all SF and SF-adjacent ZIP codes, and corrected most Nominatim errors in addresses in SF. Unfortunately new errors will continue to appear, so check Nominatim QA and review your favorite ZIP code every now and then.

• May 2026: Substantially updated the Anderson Valley: added and corrected road names, addresses, POIs, creeks, and other landscape features, and added names in Boontling.

• Ongoing: Additions and corrections to addresses and POIs, especially within a dog walk of my home in the Mission District.
