Those really look like service roads, like they were classified as before. What leads you to believe they are tertiary roads?

Hello, I was going by what I read on osm.wiki/United_States/2021_Highway_Classification_Guidance#Motorway which states that it has been adopted by US mappers and that requirement for a motorway must meet ALL of these requirements "Grade separation
Limited access via on/off ramps
No at-grade intersections or traffic signals (although on-ramps may have traffic control devices)
Divided carriageways
Designed and maintained to support high speeds over long distances as part of an interconnected motorway network"
The way I see it, going around a single city does not necessarily mean long haul. Also, it isn't connected to any other motorway network. However, that same page says that it should be a "motorway island" but that wasn't an option that I saw when selecting road classification.
A lot of these classifications on OSM and the wiki seem to have very loose definitions and seems to be up to the local mappers interpretation and knowledge and I, at the time, felt I made the right call. If you'd like to change it back to motorway, I won't challenge it or change it back.

Naw, no worries, I find a lot of us are just pretty "passionate" about mapping on here so it's all good. I'm gonna let you make the decision to keep it as is or change it back. Next time I see something like this, I'll definitely do more ground work before making a change like this, kinda crazy how I do drive on it every day but still had to go out and check for signage and to my surprise, just the two signs in Cabot, plus some in NLR but that section isn't in question. I saw two I 57 South Signs in Cabot (North of Jacksonville), right on Highway 5 at the on ramps. As far as specifically in Jacksonville, no. No signage has been posted. I assume because of all the new road construction. If official signage is what makes an interstate an interstate, then the signs in Cabot will have to do. If that will not work and you wanna change it back to Future I 57, I won't challenge you or change it back until I see official signage after all this construction is complete. I apologize if I've upset or offended you and if I'm wrong. I also learned something today and I'll use that going forward with my mapping.

None of those appear to be a tertiary road, most of them appear to be driveways and then residential roads. I'd like to recommend you learn more about road classifications before you continue editing. I've been following your edits and almost all of them have been inaccurate.

Those were all service roads. I changed them back, you had incorrectly made them residential roads. Please be more accurate with your edits. Those are service roads. Residential roads have people living there, not gas station and convenience store access. I'll change them back but please read definitions of roads before changing. Looking back at your edits, you have made many errors and other users have been having the same issues with your edits.

I went ahead and fixed it due to the urgency of this, please refrain from incorrectly classifying roads in the future, there are tons of resources available online to help you learn how to correctly classify roads, I strongly suggest you read them or stop editing things you don't know. If you changed this by mistake, please advise and be more careful in the future, changing motorways down to secondary roads isn't exactly something someone should do so carelessly.

These are NOT secondary roads, they are motorways, and designated interstates, please revert your changeset and other incorrect fixes you have made in Jacksonville, AR. You changed service roads to residential roads as well.
