My name is Barbara (Barb) Kendall. I am retired from the New York State Department of State, Office of Planning and Development, Local Waterfront Revitalization Program. Before that I was Director of the Greenway Conservancy for the Hudson River Valley. Prior to that I was Director of the Dutchess County Environmental Management Council. I also did a few years of consulting in stormwater management and watershed planning. I have been a member of the NY/NJ Trail Conference, The Nature Conservancy, Friends of the Great Swamp, and the Oblong Land Conservancy for many years. I live with my husband Brad in eastern Dutchess County, in the Town of Dover. We have two sons, Travis and Stephen, who live with their families in the Rochester area.
