Ayden Hector enrolled in Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado, after graduating from high school to pursue a degree in business. He has performed admirably academically and is on course to graduate in early December 2023. Ayden is also a part of the Colorado State Rams football team. He has established himself as a standout defensive back, garnering all-conference accolades despite appearing in only seven games during the 2022 season. He has 24 tackles and three interceptions, including an eight-tackle, one-interception, and one-touchdown effort on October 7, 2022.

Ayden is highly motivated to give back to his community in addition to his academic and athletic successes. In high school, he founded B.Box, an initiative that supplied monthly birthday boxes to local homeless shelters. He still runs B.Box and has a monthly delivery agreement with the Colorado State University on-campus food bank. He has also volunteered for groups like Pick 6, Relay for Life, and Tent City, which help young people, the homeless, and cancer patients.
