I just wished to ask is the area in question really supposed to be drawn this way? It seems a bit odd to me that an area is marked by paths in this way. On the other hand, it does solve some problems with a general walking area of this size.

If this is the correct way of doing things please give me a link to the proper guidelines/documentation so I can learn.

Nice park, but I would question the usefulness of drawing sidewalks.

In any case, as it stands it makes it difficult to make it truly useful in navigational use cases.

I would propose scrapping the sidewalks and connecting all of the paths directly to the roads. If not, that's okay. I could also just fill in the spots needed for GPS navigation, if that is preferred.
