If you are walking and hoping cross here you should try contact the team working on the lock. We had walked from St Ives park and ride 5 miles and were planing to cross here and return via Needingworth and Holywell bankside paths. but we had to retrace our steps. It would have been nice to know beforehand. their option is to walk to Earith to cross the river.

According to sign at southern end the of this loop this path as been closed. Usual Cambs CC slow process the definitive map still shows it as a path.
