Project Build OSM Map Oman

Oman OSM is lacking many features. Buildings, schools, parking locations, missing roads, etc…. Some of areas like town names are missing. So addressing is impossible for now (reverse geo-coding).

I am working at Omani tech company. Most of our services relay on OSM. Google maps is worse. So I decided to use my time and effort to continue building Oman maps.

If you are living in Oman or willing to help outside Oman please contact me and I will provide all the information needed. Including roads, buildings, building names, etc.. So we can collaborate :).

Update 1:

10/7/2023: I am currently working on updating, removing and cleaning some of the buildings. I am also working on batch adding the rest of the missing building from the official sources at my free time. If you see something wrong, please contact me
