Hey! I’m new here, but I’m a Ridgecrest, California native, whose family has been in the valley for around 60 years. I myself was raised, and still live, here.

I’ve been in love with our desert since I was a kid. I’m fascinated with its history, and how much our little dusty place in the storm and shine has grown.

I still remember when we had our first K-Mart in the same shopping center as the north Albertsons, or when Walmart was first built in 1991, and even the Drawing Room on Ridgecrest Boulevard and Eagle Mountain, where we shopped for Beanie Babies, on Balsam!
