Interesting. We're both right on this one. The lane does exist in the plat map you reference, as a private unnamed road servicing the two rear plots. Seconding this as I recently completed the island as well. There are, unsurprisingly, three bunkers on triple bunker road. Uploaded gps traces to add a handful of previously unmapped trails as well. Thanks for your contribution!

Hello mapper! In this recent edit, you mention that this way is state-owned and inaccessible. To reflect this in OSM, there are Allowed Access settings (foot, auto, bicycle, etc) that can be changed without removing data that exists in the town's official maps. If you'd like more info, check out access=private

Rankin path is listed as town land, not private plats. Access may be restricted to residents, but entire way should not be deleted. Are you able to revert to replace nodes and set correct access?

Unnamed ways with addresses corresponding to connecting named way are service roads, do not need "unknown"

A request when making these types of edits: please redefine the way (in this case to private driveway, unnamed) to correct it rather than deleting it. These points of reference help when wayfinding for mappers on foot. Thanks for your work in OSM!

Since these service multiple residences they'd technically be service roads, driveways branch off.

Ran this a few weeks back and Lopez has no gate; it's a service road that gives access to the buildings in back, listed as public in Google Maps.

Google maps shows no such "private road" signs, town does not list it as private.
