gute Arbeit, einen kleinen Kommentar hab ich aber dann doch: Relationen sind nicht dazu da Listen von gleichen Sachen zu erstellen sondern um zusammengehörende Dinge, die man sonst nicht als zusammenhängen erkennen kann zu gruppieren. Also die zwei Straßen vom und zum Dorf und die Durchfahrstraße die "marktstraße" heißt und die zusammen die B47 sind. Sowas wie "alle Poststationen in Kiel" bekommt man einfach per XAPI, da braucht man keine Relation. Solche Listen sind zwar bei der Wikipedia typisch, bei OSM aber überflüssig. Vorausgesetzt alle Packstationen sind nach dem gleichen Schema getaggt, aber da achtest du ja drauf...

Oder du nimmst gpsmapsupp.img von User:Computerteddy, wirfst dein Garmin Eumel in den Usb-Mass-Storage-Mode, wirfst die Datei in den Ordner "garmin" auf dem Gerät und bist fertig. Freie Karte mit freien Tools. Unter jedem OS.

Falls man den Track nur verwendet um Straßen anzulegen, den Track aber danach nicht öffentlich macht, dann könnte es etwas einfacher werden. Aufheben sollte man ihn natürlich trotzdem, falls es mal Ärger gibt, wo die Straßen herkamen.

Using your email adress instead of the login should be documented in the wiki. I put that in a while ago.

Viewing which tiles you did and so one is best done through the webpage you mention, the t@h client doesn't give you those nice stats.

You don't have to care about which tiles need processing, if you run the t@h client in loop mode it will go and ask the server for work to do.

Please not that temporary problem with the server (like status code 500 while uploading) do happen once in a while. Try a couple of minutes later and everything should work again.

I tend to go ways twice. Once on either side of the road. This helps to average out errors of the GPS and alleviates the fact that you don't travel in the middle of the road.
