I'm pretty new to this so I'm just going on what I've found in the wiki, seems it's best just to be consistent. I was recently advised not to change the big path which goes through the park as it is separate from the road in some places, but I think it makes sense for any pavements round here that stick to road edges to be just part of the road. I don't want to step on your toes though, you've done some really neat mapping round here!

Most of the other pavements around Eastleigh seem to not have been added as separate ways, would it make more sense to add them to the existing roads (where possible) instead?

Thanks, I'm new to OSM so this is why I requested a review. I agree with your suggestion of keeping it but moving it to the other side, do you know the simplest way of reverting my change so I can move it?
