Hi,
The rather good Bing imagery suggests a rather active-travel hostile design with no W-E connections, and only one link to Richard Ashley Place.
Senderfield Lane appears to be an access road to the WWTW, which has been subsumed by the residential development (compare OSSV from 2016 verses 2022).
Ground survey is needed to confirm the reality, as the implied design is rather odd!
(Although I've seen exactly the same locally with a separated access for HGV sludge tankers at a large WWTW.)
