hola Ravrol. please do comment on the changesets that introduced the mistake or inconsistence. The DWG has warned warned me that I should "step back from your self-appointed role as “OSM gatekeeper” in Panama".
Hola Mariotomo :)
Sorry but I don't get your point here :/ Who needs to step back from what kind of gatekeeping?
Using OsmAnd I can't comment on the changeset, while on the move, and therefore I just leave notes.
The traffic situation in this area has been changed entirely compared to the current situation illustrated in OSM - think this deserves attention, since it's crucial for people who rely on any OSM based routing while driving towards Casco Vijeo.
To me, it seems like the third lane (highway:residential) has been blocked by pollers, transfering it more into a pedestrian road. Whereby the highway:tertiary needs to be tagged with two lanes for most parts.
Furthermore, the roundabout is mssing entirely so far in the OSM data.
Just wanted to let mappers know that there's a need for revising the area, whereby I can't do that myself, since I'm not in Panama anymore and don't dare to revise it only based on aerial imagery :/
who must step back [from commenting to each and every doubtful action here in Panamá)? user 'mariotomo'!
I'm not often in Panama City, and I would not know of any mapper who's going to be there any soon.
I had a look at roads and lanes in the area, and I can't match it with my recollection of the spot. I also do not remember a roundabout. maybe the area was reconstructed radically in the last two years.
