natural=valley ?
https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:natural%3Dvalley
I dont think the name would apply to the whole valley. I'm not sure of the extents of it either, where it starts and ends.
The feature is more of an area / region rather than a centreline describing a physical thing. It was named as such after a large storm or landslide many many years ago which removed much of the trees. These trees have now grown back and it's not desolate at all now.
I think we could tag it as a valley, as it basically is one also. The label which it describes is to the eastern side of the beck which is where the footpaths are, rather to the west which is sort of inaccessible.
