Did not see any signs or obstruction here. Seems fully accessible.
It is a nature reserve. Visitors might be expected to be acquainted with unsigned access restrictions. At least that's the case elsewhere in similar situations. Maybe pbnoxious knows more...
I'm not a local and currently can't seem to find any official information.
When I left this note last year I was visiting the Pfaffenstein and both "Nasse Schlucht" and "Taubenschlag" were definitely not designated as official paths. So they might be still "walkable" and not blocked but not maintained and officially forbidden.
Keep in mind that this ban of "general access" (i.e. for using the path to simply go to the top of the Pfaffenstein) is not the same as access to the rock for climbing specific routes, which I think is still allowed.
For a definitive answer someone with better local knowledge has to tune in.
Yeah, I saw this osm note when I walked by from the top thats why I commented, and not update the map.
Anyway, there was a path down, looked decent and used. Has black triangle sign meaning "climbing access" - which seems to be generally tagged with "access=yes" from what I've seen around here, so the map seems fine - but hey, I'm not a local either 😉
