I asked people who edited this way for feedback, but it seems that it should be deleted unless path actually exists there

I agree that this is not a path. Not every route where somebody climbed up with GPS on is a path.

If not path then a winter trail or such.

From what I know, at the start of the season fixed ropes get laid along most of the route. No idea, if that is sufficient to create a path? Perhaps here is much more of a path than in other places, c.f. https://www.openstreetmap.org/note/3255407
