Get a copy of the map, printed or in a GPS-enabled device.
Go outside. Go back inside and dress properly to be outside for a while.
Start making comments on all the housenumbers you see.
Return home. Start up an editor. It would be great to add some building outlines as well, although someone halfway around the world can do that too.
Add the housenumbers you have collected to the places you can see that they belong, maybe as close to the entrance as possible.
Voila!
Help is available (somewhere) for each step.
Note that this area is somewhat newer construction, so the default imagery you are presented shows only trees here.
I will try to add a few building outlines to get you started, but from afar, I can't add any housenumbers or the missing streetnames around here.

Good advice from freebeer - this is exactly how OSM got its start. No satellite imagery, just Steve Coast with his gps and bike.

I added some addresses, although there aren't structures so they were added to the driveway attributes
I usually just place a node over the house.
