UC Berkeley campus maps seem to offer a short and a long definition for Eshleman Road. The long definition is currently in use here, which presents Eshleman as a continuous path (and not necessarily auto road) through half the length of the campus.
I only see a short definition on the campus map (http://www.berkeley.edu/map), can you link to the long one?
I can't find any evidence that Eshleman Road is anything other than the short segment of road between Barrows and Moses/Anthony Halls, west of Faculty Glade and North Field, and east of Barrows Lane.
It looks like Moses Hall was originally named Eshleman Hall, so that would explain the name.
Removed name.
