Comment from Mateusz Konieczny
Can you link where this import was discussed?
What is the license of UNIS?
Where this import was documented?
Why https://www.openstreetmap.org/relation/10953749#map=12/0.1239/29.1450 was added as a single supermassive multipolygon? Editing this works only in some editors, requires good network connection and beefy device due to its extreme size.

Also pinged un.mappers@un.org as recommended by https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Unite_Maps_Initiative

Hello, thank you for your comments. It's not an import, but a mapping activity and UNIS are the satellite images of the UN.

Can you mention that UNIS at
https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Unite_Maps_Initiative/UN_Mappers ?It would be probably better to use more descriptive term in changeset
comments, but I created https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/UNIS for
now (as some changesets were already made using that term). Also, what are licensing terms of that imagery? Are there limitations
on tracing and distributing data? It also should be mentioned on that
page, preferably with quote from relevant contract (it is typical that
people claim "source is OK" only to discover that they meant "I copied
from publicly available Google Maps").Also https://wiki.osmfoundation.org/wiki/Organised_Editing_Guidelines
require documenting
"any non-standard tools and data sources used, and their usage
conditions" -

Dear Mateusz, we sent you an email in order to clarify any doubts.

Hello Folks. As Mariateresa said, this activity fall under the https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Unite_Maps_Initiative/UN_Mappers We map using JOSM and Maxar/UNIS images. Every mapsheet (a square 0,25° by 0.25°) it takes us 10 - 20 days to complete and we do manual (visual) recognition of the features.

@UNGSC-Mariateresa Rather than a private email, please ensure (if they are not already) that the sources used and the licence under which they are used are publicly documented.

"we sent you an email in order to clarify any doubts."
You also must fulfill requirements of https://wiki.osmfoundation.org/wiki/Organised_Editing_Guidelines that require documenting
"any non-standard tools and data sources used, and their usage
conditions" on OSM Wiki page of your organized edit. Also, anyway I have not yet got info (in any form) about usage conditions of UNIS, specifically whatever it is licensed in way that allows using it for distruticing traced imagery under ODBL.
