boundary=place would be preferable here, unless this boundary *defines* a ward or other official subdivision.

Hi,
This isn’t a ward however the Borough Council defines this area as the area for which the Deepcut Neighbourhood forum and plan can apply so it is official. I don’t know if this helps, let me know.
Thanks -

I found this, which doesn't seem to correspond: https://www.surreyheath.gov.uk/residents/planning/planning-policy/planning-and-supplementary-planning-documents/deepcut-developme-0
Have you got a link to the source of your boundary? Interestingly the future contour of Deepcut straddles the border with Guildford - I wonder how they coordinate in this case. -

This is the link to the Deepcut Neighbourhood plan site on the Borough Council website, the map is the file entitled Deepcut Area Neighbourhood Map. That map you’ve found is very interesting. I would hazard a guess that this is a map of the proposed development area. It can cross the boarder because it is probably a country level map, not certain though. The map that the neighbourhood plan provides fits within the boarder of Mychett and Deepcut award too, hence I think this might be the best map of Deepcut village. Please let me know what you think.
Thanks
