Hi dudeone, I took the liberty to remove the service=driveway on https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/492649366. Generally, a hw=service gets "smaller" by adding this tag. According to the wiki, hw=driveway marks private roads, usually very short ones, leading off a public road to a single property (only), so as soon as they have more roads forking off them (or tracks, or even paths) this is hardly a suitable tagging IMHO. (Apart from osm-carto not rendering them below ZL 16.)

But it is not a public road so highway=unclassified is wrong. Personally I'd trust dudone to know if something is a driveway or not, and I would also agree with him - it is not unusual for farms to share a driveway in this way (or for houses too).

In my understanding, service=driveway (maybe differently from the colloquial meaning of "driveway") marks a small way with no traffic importance at all, except access to the property it leads to.
So as soon as there’s a public right of way using it or branching off it, the traffic importance is more than strictly local, which should be reflected in the tagging.
I am aware that we don’t tag for the renderer but tagging this way service=driveway will leave the connecting footpaths open-ended in ZL 14 & 15, which somehow cannot be correct. If unclassified is wrong, let’s tag it hw=service (without the driveway tag) + motor_vehicle=private.
