Where is the source of this data?
It appears to be an import, and if so, I don't recall it being discussed on the import list. If it was, please point me to it. -

@emacsen, this is not an import. @chatt980's edits are regular osm edits. They are a local government staff updating the map for their disaster risk reduction efforts. We trained them in using OSM.
See: https://www.gfdrr.org/sites/gfdrr/files/publication/Community-Mapping-for-Disaster-Risk-Reduction-and-Management.pdfHope that clears up your questions.

@manning- if this is not an import, that's fine, but it sure looks like an import based on the specificity and speed of the data being placed on the map. As for the edits themselves, the tagging is very "off". Do you/your group have a plan to fix/clean this data?

@emacsen, :) Yes, @chatt980 is getting better in using iD, but I'm sure this is not automated knowing the skill level of the contributor. True, there are issues with the tagging. Instead of fixing it myself, we try to solve this by explaining to the contributor directly. I will schedule an in-person discussion which works best.

@maning, I get worried when I hear "schedule an in person discussion" regarding time. This user is very active in their editing (which is fine) but there are real issues here- such as specifying source (is it really just using Bing imagery?) and there are a large number of tagging issues. As for going back- I would expect that the user go back and fix each of these. if they can't- then I'd think it'd be better to propose a mechanical edit- because as things stand, the data is improperly tagged. The saving grace may be that (hopefully) it's all mis-tagged in the same way, which would mean it'd be easy to mechanically fix- but I think we can agree that it shouldn't stay the way it is.

I appeal that you don't implement mechanical fix for now. I'm pretty sure they use Bing, local knowledge and nothing else. Let us please deal with this through our local community. If there is a need to fix tags (which I agree we should), please allow the local PH community to do this.

I won't implement a mechanical edit here, but I am saying that they need to fix the tagging and it should be relatively soon. My initial concern was "Is this an import?" but at this point its "This data is tagged poorly". When I hear about calling an in person meeting to discuss, I get worried about how long it will take to resolve this issue.
I agree that training is your best bet here, but for the sake of these people's valuable time, it might make sense for you/your team to script a repair here.

Thanks. As I suggested, we will discuss with the community (both the specific contributor and also the local PH community). We will improve the tagging based on our community agreed tags. Thank you for pointing this out.

What is our basis in tagging the agricultural land? And we are not familiar with the import based. Meantime we will pause the editing in our area. What we edited was just from rice field to agricultural. We do hope this concerned be settled ASAP.

Hi Ate chat980, I've edited an area to demonstrate the proper tags: http://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/29696558
For example:
for farmlands, we use the tags: landuse=farm and crop=rice. No need to add the name=Ricefield.
for fisponds, we use the tags: landuse=aquaculture, natural=water. No need to add the name=fishpond
for residential areas: no need to add the tag name=houses unless there is a specific name for that residential area.
