Change comment is very strange, "violation of law entry"? Wikipedia tag was perfectly fine, will restore wikipedia value.

So the wiki page the feature has links to is an event in history, not the site itself. That's why I used tag subject:Wikipedia tag instead.
you can read about it on the wiki
https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key:wikipedia#Secondary_Wikipedia_linksAs for the way the change comment is, I just left it because that's what the map roulette author made.

Wiki tag was perfectly fine and will be corrected. It is strange that you think you know better from the other side of the world than local mappers who actually create and use this data.

The use of the Wikipedia tag was not fine. And your continued misunderstanding of the correct use of tags (which, mind you, is documented on the wiki we both use as a reference to map) is genuinely concerning to see from a seasoned account such as yours. You should know better than to map for the renderer.
https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Good_practice#Don't_map_for_the_renderer
Tainting the map to appease one consumer is damaging the entire database in the same way you accuse me by using the correct tags for this feature.Furthermore, my physical location does not have any Bearing on where I should be mapping (it's OPEN street map). Unless specified by the greater OSM community (like when the war in Ukraine started, and it was advised not to map Ukraine) you and I can map where we please.
subject:wikipedia and subject:wikidata are both correct tags for this feature. If you have an issue with your render, fix it. Don't compromise the map.

OSM wiki is just an opinion of some people. It has never been, is not now, and will never be a rule. This has been accepted by global OSM community. Specific usage is decided by local community which you're not part of. You can map anywhere, but you must follow the rules of local community. Bye.
