Vandalism?
Bolzano è indicata come Bolzano - Bozen.
Di una cosa sono sicuro, cambiare dei nomi a dei posti lasciando nei tag tutti i nomi originari non è "vandalism".Saluti :)

> Vandalism?
Yes, from my point of view it's vandalism.

So it's your lucky day to meet nek knowledge about
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slovene_minority_in_Italy
and formal (in italian):

Thank you for pointing this out. I'll update comune Doberdob. (http://www.comune.doberdo.go.it/portale/export/sites/doberdo/allegati/archivio_file/amministrazione/STATUTO_COMUNE_DI_DOBERDOx_DEL_LAGO_STATUT_OBCINE_DOBERDOB.pdf) -

Sadly but Trieste refuse to add this into statuto and sadly Dipiazza win again. -

Scriviamo in una sola lingua per piacere.
1. I respect your point of view but I was talking about a matter of fact. Changing some names cannot be called vandalism in a world that gives meaning to words.
2. I know full well that there a slovene community at the border between Italy and Slovenia, that's not what I was saying. I said that, unlike in other places, the slovene language (and german and friulan in other parts of Friuli Venezia Giulia) has not nominal official (official, not for example used alongside in all the matters of the municipality, that doesn't mean it's official) status in any municipality.
Legally the only official language there is italian, because the only official language is that of the nation, not of the region, the province or the municipality.
See Switzerland for example, here every step of administrative division (cantons, boroughs and municipalities) can have its own official languages. This is not true for Italy. The exceptions are Alto Adige autonomous province and Aosta Valley region.
All that I written in the second point is based on my understanding, but I might be wrong.
Your documents don't prove me wrong though, so you should make a better effort =)Martino

I've read now the statuti comunali and the word "official" is not used in them.

Comment from MitjaJez
No, there is no keyword 'official'. So what do you think what does
> Il comune negli atti e nel sigillo si identifica con il nome di Doberdò del Lago – Doberdob. 1Občina se v listinah in na žigu istoveti z imenom Doberdo' del Lago - Doberdob.

I've already wrote it..

I misadded a period to the first line, it should have been only with one.

Slovenian is official and protected in 31 municipality in Italy (fully in all except Trieste and Gorizia where is applied only partially). The double name is also printed on locality tables, so this is a fact and the on the ground rule. Please also check the Sardegna and sardo language, just an example how sardo is official language.

Thanks for your contribution.
About the last part I only forgot to mention Sardinia, but I know that sardo is co-official there.
Ok, if it's as you say, we need to change every place name in these 31 municipalities and put a - between them, not a /, for standardization with Südtirol and Aosta Valley. -
Comment from MitjaJez
No, using '/' is standard here. Just like in "Koper / Capodistria" for italian minority in Slovenia. This is also big suggestion to move from '-' to '/' also for Südtirol and Aosta Valley since character '-' is widly used in name of one language e.g.
instead of Duino - Aurisina - Devin - Nabrežina is buch better as it is: Duino - Aurisina / Devin - Nabrežina -
Comment from user_10901495
Yeah okay. I suggested so because only because it was 2 vs 1 but okay, I agree with you, the - is not very adeguate.

only because*

Yes, I confirm that years ago we choose to use " / " as separator because hypen is already used in some names.
