As user descriptions and diaries are indexed by Google, many spamming examples can be found automatically. Try searching for site:openstreetmap.org inurl:user badkeyword or site:openstreetmap.org/user/ badkeyword, where badkeyword is:
- dating
- casino
- mortgage
- loans (put spammers to the list above at 23.02.2014)
- pharmacy (looks like it's been tackled as of 2021-06-03)
- printer ink
- breastfeeding (looks like it's been tackled a bit and is not reappearing)
- cialis (looks like it's been tackled as of 2021-06-03, Google is simply not updated)
- vuitton (looks like it's been tackled a bit)
- poker
- pills
- weight loss
- penis
- porno
- sex
- gugurkan kandungan (abortion drugs)
The above Google searches find so much spam, we don't need to link to specific cases of this here.
