What is the status of Erewash Field? It is currently tagged as a nature reserve operated by Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust. I can find no reference to it on the NWT website and haven't seen signs indicating this on the ground.

There used to be several informal paths here in addition to the main 'Greenway Trail', but in recent years most have been blocked.
