My name is Josh Carlson.

I’m now the GIS Cadastral Analyst for Kendall County, Illinois. You can find my “work profile” under the the name Kendall County GIS.

Interests

I like to map a bit of everything, but have a particular interest in

• Pedestrian and cyclist infrastructure
• Accessibility tagging
• Micromapping
• That warm feeling when you fix really bad TIGER data
• Comprehensive highway tagging (lanes, surface, etc)

Mostly, I just want my local area to be really, really well mapped, and I’ll broaden out from there.
