Pleasant Plains road has been realigned to better access the Great swamp national Wildlife Preserve. The marker is at about the midpoint of the new alignment. The original ROW sill exists with the same name, but although the pavement still connects at about the "P" of "Plains" on this map, it is gated off making the westernmost part of the old road into a dead end.
