@Sam Wilson: With a pen, notebook, memory and pacience. Most of the information of a shop I can gather simply by watching labels at shop entrance. Thats why, often, Swad is mapped one street at the time. One example is Church Gresley Infant School, not even present in Bing Imagery: I mapped it seeing the building by myself.
