Looks to be part of a stream which was traced, but the source and destination are unclear from Bing
The destination is the river to the east (it goes under the road). I can draw out the stream a bit.
I am still unsure if it is a missing boundary. There does seem to be some boundary in the historic map
http://map.geohive.ie/mapviewer.html
Now I am thinking it is not a major boundary. There is no other townland to split here.
It also looks correct from the Griffiths evaluation map data.
This line continues east along the stream to the river, but also west along a piece of road where there is no stream which makes me think this line was drawn to match the border seen in the historic map. What that border is I am still not sure!
That untagged line & the one to the east are parts of the old Westport town municipal boundary, which is to mapped and tagged properly
A similar untagged boundary is south of Mayo Abbey (link below). I think It borders two townlands with the same name (historical map data). Maybe the border types are different?
I do not know how to handle boundaries very well but I wanted to mention it here for future reference.
