In that case I asume there is a cycling forbidden sign (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/d/df/Nederlands_verkeersbord_C14.svg) and that would make it a bicycle=no. Still it is strange that there is also a cycleroute http://www.openstreetmap.org/browse/relation/2599011
If there is no "cycling forbidden sign" I would still suggest bicycle=dismount. I'm sure German law will allow me to push the bike ;-)
Can anybody confirm there is a "cycling forbidden" sign?
There is a sign: http://www.flickr.com/photos/22131989@N00/3232227468/
You have to dismount and push your bike.
the delimiters for the restrictions are the right angles of this way both east and west.
Great sign. Never seen anything like this. If this is the only sign (and no cycling forbidden sign) then I suggest bicycle=dismount.
I would certainly not use a bicycle=dismount for all footways. In this case the footway is part of a cycleroute relation which is strange but reality here. In this case there's also a sign saying to dismount from your bike. Then to me it seems OK to use bicycle=dismount. A bicycle=no may prevent bicyclerouters/ navis from taking this route.
Himmel, was ne blöde Diskussion.
