Resolved note #601729
Description
There are two separate areas here, which are labelled as a single area called "Cornhill Meadows Dragonfly Sanctuary". I visited on the 19th. There are actually two separate areas.
Cornhill Meadows is the area east of the Cornmill Stream. The Cornhill Meadows Dragonfly Sanctuary is the area west of the stream.
I suggest the existing area is split. Note there are a limited number of ways into the dragonfly sanctuary, which is otherwise fenced off. There are the two bridges over the stream, the gate onto Abbey View, and the passage under Abbey View.

Thanks for the observation.
It seems I gave it that name when I visited in 2013 -- entering from the Highbridge direction, so that's the sign I would have seen. But the split makes sense, looking at both the LVRP map and the difference in landcover.
My mistake, so I'm fixing it :) Though provisionally I'm assuming that the Dragonfly Sanctuary is still *part* of Cornhill Meadows -- I'll check if there are signs on the connecting bridges that suggest we are actually *leaving* Cornhill Meadows when we enter the dragonfly sanctuary and split them completely if that's the case.
Thanks harg - that looks great. I think you're correct that the Dragonfly Sanctuary is best treated as a subset of the Meadows in general.
For clarity, that last comment is mine - I forgot to log in.
