West cycleway was closed when the bridge closed - so I expect this to continue when the Bridge re-openens (Only one side is ever open). I was planning on switching the Bridge to back open this evening. There was also a changeset that mentioned setting some of the junctions access, so these need to be checked as well.
ForthRoadBridge twitter has confirmed that normal operation is East footway and that west footway is normally shut and used for maintentance.
Ok, thanks. I only noticed this as the east cycleway still had cycles=yes and was still routable.
Both sides were open yesterday, not sure if that is just the weekend though
Signs at south end indicate that the west foot/cycle path is closed Mon-Fri but open at weekends; the east path is fully open.
Noticed an update from Transport Scotland moving pedestrians and cyclists to the West path from May 2:

That note is now obsolete and both sides of the bridge are opened to cyclists and pedestrians.
