I originaly left this place of worship tag for several resons and clarifyed the stuctures more official origins with this feature:-
https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/308117855/history
My reasoning is that there has been young who have grown up with this as a possibly mistirous site withen where they may have grown up and a mythical origin story may have organicly grown up.
In addition a statiscaly significent number of the population of this country/MemberState officialy declared themselves as being part of religions such as or very closly related to jedi in the official census.
As I'm not familier with the pactitioners of the local area followers of jedi beliefs it felt fine to double feature the site in the way given to cater for both purposes. Though the place of worship tag should idealy be accompanied by a relious designation set of tags. This would alow effective filtering or map symbol chioces to be automated.
As i didn't know the specifics of the religion (as mentioned above), I left the entry as given.
Apart from a tiny sign saying that is a Achient monument and similar legend to discorage trespassing vissable on or from the fence while standing beside or withen the boundies of the designated monument site no explinations appear to given at the site itself. Also this site used to have high security associated with it so that has also limited records that the young such a mounument from acheint history. (the fact that most other local anchient mouments are from the Stone Age to the period before the romans came 2 mellenium ago - the concept that it has anything to do with the old airbase isn't as obvious as you might believe.
I will post a link ref to this on the changeset that created it to ask if the original contributer could expand the religion tag to assist in auto filltering.
Hmm I not to sure what may have happened but the tag has appered to be up dated already some months before I reviewed it this evening and found it incomplete and rendered with a christain symbol, I think I must have recived some old data as did the renderer. so I think it is ok for the above reasons.
I don't think I've enough knowledge on this religion to counter it and I guess the anonymous commentator wasn't a jedi.
Or maybe they where and so spoted it being incorectly described...
Referenced place_of_worship no longer exists
Do you think it would be ok to add a garage tag to the bunkers that stored the lorries. The misiles came pre-loaded on lorries to be driven to South Oxfordshire for launch. I guess the smaller ones held the dismantled nucular warhead subcomponets (seperated to decrease accidental explosion)
That should really be a different note, but I'd have said no. If your purpose is to get them to render, then we don't do that :)
As they're overground structures, I've adding building=military too.
maybe it should I just wasn't thinking of rendering I was thinking of functional discription tagging like a type I might investigate how how other GAMA systems are done. By the way I forgot to Thankyou for a useful contribution to this part of OSM --- I'll also try and work out which in the NW of the site is the crew standby quaters {..the Quick Reaction Alert (QRA) shelter...}
resolving as topic is now a refinement issue and not a flaw. The religious issue will be done outside OSM and replaced if it dose have substance see giant discourse above.
