However, I don't think cuisine=portuguese is correct. It is specifically chicken, and even more specifically peri peri/piri piri chicken. That term derives from East Africa, so if you wanted to put a nationality on it, my guess would be Mozambiquan.
The chain is South African. They market themselves as the flavour of portugal.
Curiously, the site hides that information in a metatag: <meta name="description" content="Home of the legendary, Portuguese flame-grilled PERi-PERi chicken." />
That's what shows up in search results, even if it's not obvious from the site itself.
