Many thanks for this report. Indeed the S-bound carriageway had the one way direction incorrect. I have corrected this and it should now be possible to route along the A68 when travelling S

How long will it take before this correction will take effect on the map please?
It still isn't right after 4 days since it said "resolved"
So the A68 is closed for traffic traveling south.

For routing the OSM shows routes from 3rd party sites which may update at different speeds varying from several days to once a month. Super fast routing requires a lot of up-front calculation and doing this for the world means massive computations.
Unfortunately I'm not aware of a car router which just works for the UK based on this data. However cycle routers from CycleStreets and cycle.travel may update more frequently, or they update at different times. I'll double check by building an offline router for my desktop.
