Paths inside the site are currently under construction. Signs say works ongoing until May 2014 but obviously that target have been missed. Access currently prohibited at all entry points on Lambley Lane and Spring Lane
Surfaced paths now mapped - construction work still ongoing connecting the Spring Lane entrances so technically still closed. The desire entrances around the site have paths near them with nothing stopping access (apart from signs) and plenty of people are now using the site. I've left most of the desire paths within the site off as 1) I wanted a clean GPS trace of the main ones, 2) it's difficult to work out what will be returned to nature now the surfaced paths are in situ and what will become real desire paths. Some of the more obvious ones which aren't fenced off have been added,
For anyone else interested in mapping the site there are plenty of ditches, culverts, trees and other nature stuff which is worth a map. The boundary fences at the Arnold Lane site are only approximately positioned.
If you've started mapping it, I guess the name should no longer be "Coming Soon"? :-)
Park due to open late March 2015.

Now Open - added Car Park, new access roads and a couple more tracks. Access at southern end is a bit unobvious - plenty of people walkng along the road from the A6211 to the energy plant and into that park, but also plenty of signs saying private, but also gaps in the fence (including stiles) to access that bit!
