roads are there, but names are needed
Simply noting general things missing from the map, especially those for which there are good quality assurance/improvement tools, is not what map notes are for really. Such notes / notes like this do more clutter than good. Unless they encourage someone to survey the missing data -- and close the notes more or less in a timely manner. For roads w/out names there are plenty of tools from NoName roads layers to various other highlighting tools. So, I'm closing this.
Please do not close notes that have been used by local mappers to signal places they may want to map. I do not use NoName and I used this note to originally locate and add these streets.
Sure thing. It's just good to get the mapping done at some point. I'm an avid notes user myself and I just had a very long (paternal) leave from resolving any notes. But we have to make sure that our notes don't just end up cluttering the map over time. Also, there is a guideline that suggests that the notes should not be used for trivial things such as no names. This is specifically to reduce map clutter with things for which there are great other tools, such as no names.
That said, all things OSM are of course typically more guidelines than rigid rules. And very few things are set into stone. Anyways, Happy mapping -- and sorry for the invonvenience.
