That was me, wish osm would log me in automatically
I don't believe there are any signs with the A2045 on them, they just say Walderslade Woods, but the road itself has never been reclassified, that's from my local knowledge, this is part of my drive to work every day. I know medway council still refers to it as A2045 in their publications, or more precisely "A2045 Medway Towns Southern Relief Road", maybe in the hope it will some day be completed. But it is not a primary route, I believe the original tertiary was correct, like a trunk road.
Kent CC roads gazetteer at http://www.kent.gov.uk/__data/assets/pdf_file/0014/10850/Gazetteer-report.pdf has it as A2045.
This road comes under Maidstone not Medway I believe, industrial units now here have lorry traffic = somethings amiss ?
