It's tricky to work out how to tag this. It doesn't feel quite like a monument or a tourist attraction or an artwork. Anybody think of a useful noun for what's described?
historic=archaeological_site site_type=footprint ?
Just invented the footprint value, couldn't find anything better and already in use. Is the site mentioned in a national heritage db ?
Not sure if mentioned in heritage sites but it is given lots of mention in Skerries sites. Cf. http://www.visitskerries.ie/st-patrick.html complete with photo. If there's an icon for Tourist interest, folklore or something like that I suppose it would suit.
Added as tourist=attraction. Full text didn't fit - I slightly massaged it, and put half into "description_2", which I suspect will not be visible on any client apps.
