That's cos there is no name on the road. It must just be a private development with no LA adoption
was not logged in when I wrote that
If there was no street sign, how did you know the name to put in addr:street? I've just checked on Price Paid data and the address would be:
6, The Hollies,
Birmingham Road,
Shenstone
Here's where we differ from the official data. They have a Primary (PAON) and Secondary (SAON) addressable object so can add all this data plus Birmingham Road as the street name. We have add:housenumber and addr:housename, but can both be used or are they mutually exclusive?
For the these cases I have settled on:
addr:housenumber=6 The Hollies
addr:street=Birmingham Road
Think I'll ask on talk-gb.
Rob, the name is on one of the properties
addr:housenumber=6 The Hollies
addr:street=Birmingham Road
sounds logical to me though in some cases elsewhere I've probably put both street names together.
There is no road. There is a driveway over which the rear properties have a right of way. The Hollies was the name of the main house on this site. The site was developed, and that house in now no. 4. with the other properties having been added.
Thanks for the clarification. Have now marked this note as resolved.
