Nottingham post was today (08/09/2014) reporting that the Hotel is due to reopen in November and the former restaurant/bar will become part of the hotel with a tea room. The former pub (Cock and Hoop?) will get a new name.
Checked today and still not open (25/11/2014). Currently being refurbished.
As of January still not opening, the signage has been updated and still indicating that it's opening soon.
Still no change. See http://www.nottinghampost.com/Lace-Market-Hotel-refurbishment-hold-owners-try/story-26106263-detail/story.html
Looks like fitting out work has resumed, appears that new tills have been installed and temporary signs have been removed.
Apparently opened today 24th Oct '15: http://nottinghamlocalnews.com/lace-market-hotel-to-open-its-doors-this-saturday/
It's now open
