Although I changed trains here recently it was entirely underground, but my understanding is that all the above ground station elements have gone, and the site is now called Central Village, see Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Central_Village,_Liverpool. Detailed history of the old station here: http://www.disused-stations.org.uk/l/liverpool_central_hl/.Bing Streetside (from Nov 2011) shows both Merseyrail & National Rail branding on the Ranelagh Street frontage: https://binged.it/2E62qK7. If this is anything like Lime Street (low level), the actual station proper (ticket office, machines etc) will be clearly distinct.
For Lime Street Merseyrail low-level/underground stations I've used railway=subway_entrance to map at least one entrance. Oddly there doesn't seem to be an equivalent railway tag for entrances to other railway stations (I guess public_transport=entrance or entrance=* is used). I'll sketch in a bit more of Lime Street low level
The station part is behind CeX + Timpson, definite station entrance at that point. Updated the shops from survey notes, the station incl platforms and access routes need mapping sometime.
Added the other platforms and underground foot connections.
