I'll check the train station sign too (though for years it had a makey-up Irish name and is probably not to be trusted)
It's the bridge I am talking about.
The road is Broombridge Road. The station and prpposed Laus stop are Broombridge http://www.irishrail.ie/travel-information/broombridge
Fair points, but they demonstrate the uncertainty - it's clear that both station and road are named after the bridge, so we are left with the conclusion that there are different spellings in the wild.
