(from 2014) shows both a no entry sign *and* a no motor vehicles sign (the latter of which means cyclists can go down it contraflow).
Area needs survey to determine what the actual situation now is.
Today, the signs are still as in the referenced 2014 picture, i.e. a No Entry sign and a No Motor Vehicles sign. However, the car image on the No Motor Vehicles sign has disappeared (been rubbed off) and the motor bike image is starting to disappear. The sign is a target for publicity stickers and I suspect that the images have started to rub off when the sign has been subject to cleaning to remove those stickers. Whether the No Motor Vehicles sign is still legal in its degraded state is anyone’s guess. I’ll leave it to others to decide if any further actions are required, in order to resolve this note.
Based on the above information, it appears that the mapping of the junction and the tags for Hanbury Street are correct.
